At a glance the viewer see’s a box decorated with different designs, but to the owner Glenn De La Cruz, it is the vault to many special moments in her life. A miniature cellphone, a rock, a movie ticket and a few photographs all pinpoint multiple sides of what makes her who she is today.

“This started out as a school project but later became a collection of objects that can be traced back to a fond memory. It all started in High School.”

Glenn De la Cruz currently resides in New York City. She enjoys rock climbing and reading in her spare time.

Jose, a die hard handball player whom views the sport not as an activity to keep busy but as a hobbie in which can be kept for a lifetime. This blue ball made of rubber is played normally in a park in America by many who enjoy the sport as well as Jose.

Yesenia in the summer of 09 went to Europe as part of a school trip. Before she left she was babied by her overprotective parents, but when she went to Europe that summer she got a real sense of liberty. Yesenia had spent her birthday over there and one of her friends gave her the necklace as a gift. That was Yesenias first birthday without her parents and that why she is all grown up.

   Kelly thought going to Chicago would be all fun and games. Little did he know what was coming ahead. On a night out with his parents his father introduced him to his older brother whom Kelly didnt even know existed. They bonded and on the last day of Kelly’s stay in Chicago, his brother gave Kelly his own personal item. That’s why the medallion is special to him and even though they haven’t known each other for a long time the bond is still there.
